We would like to invite you to the International Conference on Research in Education and Science (ICRES) which will take place on May 19 - 22, 2016 in Bodrum, Turkey.

Accommodation is free for all participants in a double room per person during the three nights of May 19, 20, 21, 2016. The accommodation at the five-star Ersan Resort Hotel (http://www.ersan.com.tr/index_en.html) is all-inclusive for the conference days.

The aim of the conference is to bring together scholars, students, and administrators from different countries, and to discuss theoretical and practical issues in the fields of information and communication technologies in education, science education and mathematics education. Your prospective, valuable contributions on this field will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and the ones approved to be presented will also be published in the Proceedings.

We will be pleased to generate an atmosphere where you can share your expertise, experience, and resources with your colleagues.

Annual books entitled "Education Research Highlights in Mathematics, Science and Technology - 2016" and "Research Highlights in Education and Science - 2016" will be published from the conference papers.
The book chapters will be selected by the editorial board from the full papers of the conference. All submissions will be reviewed by at least two international reviewers.
The purpose of the books are to provide the conference presenters with the opportunity of a scholarly refereed publication in the field of education in mathematics, science and technology & education and science.
Education Research Highlights in Mathematics, Science and Technology will be published by Egiten Publishing and will be available online after the conference.

1. KOS ISLAND (GREECE)

A day trip to this birthplace of Hippocrates will add color to your holidays and we will get you there fast in approximately 20 minutes, before the daily siesta closes all facilities and attractions. In Summer the island takes on a Nordic flavor as its bars and beaches play host to numerous Scandinavian tourists, but there are also many traces of its ancient past that are worth a visit. The City Museum houses lovely statuary and other antiquities and excavated sites of hippodrome, the gymnasium and the temple of Dionysius all call for a visit. The Asclepeion, reminds us of the medieval rule of this religious order.

Kos, a small Greek island, located only 12 miles to the west of Bodrum, has always been an enticing destination for tourists looking for more. With its fine samples of Greek and Italian archaeology, splendid beaches, beautifully painted houses and narrow lanes leading to the town square vibrant with cafes and shops, Kos, is a real treat for daily visitors. Kos is also the birthplace of Hippocrates, the father of medicine. The Asklepieion, the oldest healing center of the ancient world, is the most outstanding monument of the island. The numerous temples, castles and theatres makes this quaint island a true open-air museum.

Join us for a fun and adrenaline packed day as we cruise through 20km of real off road adventure. Starting at the foot hills of Yaliciftlik and finishing on the beach this is one trip that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Feel the rush as we move in a convoy through the plush green forests stopping along the way for breathtaking panoramic photos and local insight from your guide. The ATV Safaris are held at two different times of the day and alternative trails are available. All ATV's are two person vehicles and produce up to 35hp and all safety equipment including helmets, gloves and special clothing are provided which is to be used at all times for your own safety. You will be led by an accomplished tour leader who will assist you at all times. Start your engines and be prepared for a memorable day that you will be talking about long after your holiday is over.

4. BODRUM CITY TOUR

Bodrum City Tour: Highlights: St. Peter's Castle + Mausoleum + Amphi Theather + Myndos Gate.

Bodrum Castle: Known as the Castle of St. John, it sits high on a rocky peninsula on the site of the original Carian settlement. St Peter's Castle, set in the harbor with five imposing towers and seven gates. The castle is home to the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archaeology and you will visit its many fascinating displays including the dungeon, secret museum in the Snake Tower, German , English , French towers and a hall with ancient coins and jewelry.

Museum of Underwater Archaeology: You will see the world's oldest known shipwrecks Uluburun , a hall of recovered glassware and the Carian Princess exhibition which evokes the last days of the ancient greatness of Halicarnassus. Glass Wreck Hall, Late Bronze Age Shipwrecks, The Carian Princess Hall and the amphoras . In ancient times amphoras were used for transporting and storing Olive Oil and wine.

Mausoleum: Next explore the site one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, The Mausoleum was built by Artemisia, the sister and the wife of King Mausolos, B.C. 355.The mausoleum was destroyed in an earthquake; and the ruins were used in building of the Halikarnassus Castle

Windmills: All of the historical windmills near Bodrum harbor. windmills made of stone and lined with wooden planks, and were used from the 18th century until the 70s by local people. They're being renovated as a tourist attraction on the hill and our guide stopping for take picture.

Myndos Gate: Myndos Gate is one of the two entrances of ancient Halicarnassus. This is the only surviving gate and it was part of the towns wall. Myndos Gate walls 7km long and built by King Mausolus in the 4th Century.

Antique Theatre: Next stop will be the Ancient Theater of Halicarnassos, dated back to the 4th century BC with 5.000 capacity. You will have some free time for shopping.

6. BODRUM PENINSULA TOUR

Discover the beautiful Bodrum Peninsula, its spectacular coastline, picturesque villages and state-of-the-art marinas, and enjoy a delicious lunch in one of its famous fish restaurants. The peninsula is situated on the southwest coast of Turkey, in the eastern Aegean cost. The Peninsula covers an area of 649 km2, with a 174 km long coastline, and is located between the bays of Gulluk and Gokova. It is surrounded by 32 small islands and its highest elevation reaches 690m. Enchanting fishing villages can be found on the quiet bays of the peninsula, particularly on the Northern side, while tangerine orchards and olive groves cover the fertile interior.

This day-trip will pick you up from your hotel around 09:00 am and take you directly from the south coast to Bitez, Bardakci, Bodrum before being driven to the north to, Yalikavak and Gumusluk.

Gumusluk is a town renowned for its fish restaurants, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. The tour will take you to Yalikavak Marina, a state-of-the-art marina where you will have a chance to admire the yachts and understand why this area is called "the Turkish Riviera". You will arrive back in your hotel around 16:30 pm.
