ATLAS list Wellbeing in the Balkan countries - conference announcement and invitation

 Dear Colleagues,

 

This is my please to extend an invitation to our Project Closing Event.

 

We have been researching the Balkan Wellbeing concept in 11 countries (namely: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia & Hercegovina, FYR Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Greece and Turkey) for some two years. The findings of this extended research will be introduced during the closing of the research project in 29-30 October.

 

Participants can learn about:

  • What experts think about the development alternatives about combining wellbeing and travel?
  • What 11,000 Balkan citizens said about therir wellbeing traditions and habits?
  • How and what way the 11 countries differ in terms of wellbeing traditions?
  • What is the image of 'The Balkans' by international travellers?
  • What kind of natural and cultural assets can form base for health orientated tourism development?

We hope we can welcome you in Budapest and we can discuss further steps of this reasearch. The closing conference is supported by the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund therefore there is no participation fee. For a limited number of registered participants we are able to cover upto 2 nights of accommodation as well (first come first served basis).
