PILOT SHORT COURSE ON ADVANCED 'SOFT-SCIENCE' APPROACHES

SITUATED IN INTERNATIONAL TOURISM STUDIES (AND RELATED FIELDS)

 

16th -18th November 2016 … 3 days

The Breda-Bedfordshire short course is supported by The International Sociological Association (RESEARCH COMMITTEE 50: International Tourism); the CRITICAL TOURISM STUDIES NETWORK, organisers of the biennial CRITICAL TOURISM STUDIES raft of International Conferences; and by the international peer review journal TOURISM, CULTURE AND COMMUNICATION, as produced by the Cognizant Communication Corporation in New York, USA..

 

 

THE PROPOSED SESSIONS FOR THE 2016 PILOT SHORT COURSE

Each of the 6 sessions for the November 2016 pilot programme will have two NHTV Breda / Bedfordshire Session Leaders.  Currently, the short course material is being collated by the following six 'catalysts':

q  CONSTRUCTIVISM / CONSTRUCTIONISM

Two Session Leaders = Dr. Celiane Camargo-Borges & Erdinҫ Ҫakmak

q  ADVANCED QUALITATIVE RESEARCH

q  ADVANCED INTERPRETIVE APPROACHES
