ATLAS members with an interest in Gastronomy, Events or Cultural and Creative Tourism may be interested in the newly-launched website of the European Region of Gastronomy:
This programme will offically launch in March 2015, with the first regions running events from 2016 onwards. This project is being coordinated by the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT), which recently organised a joint meeting with ATLAS on Innovation and Tradition in Gastronomy in the Alto Minho, Portugal. Plans are now being made for a further expert meeting to be held at the ATLAS 2015 Annual Conference in Lisbon.
