We take this opportunity to share some interesting announcements with you:
1)
We're delighted to announce that our Second Issue, which is also our FIRST "Special Edition" of our
- Free,
- Online,
- Peer-Reviewed,
- Open Access,
- International Journal of Religious Tourism and Pilgrimage
is now live at : http://arrow.dit.ie/ijrtp/
This is an interesting and challenging set of papers on Tourism and Terror, edited by Maximiliano e. Korstanje
2)
We will shortly be publishing our Third issue (Volume 2(ii)), which will be a 'standard' volume of papers - academic, research and industry focused, with book reviews and conference announcements.
3)
The FIRST Issue of the Journal continues to be an incredible success. Some time in the last week we Surpassed 5000 downloads of individual articles, with three of the articles being downloaded more than 600 times each since publication in February.
Again, we welcome any comments or ideas for the Journal, and are always open to new suggestions.
4)
Plans are progressing for our 7th Annual Religious Tourism and Pilgrimage conference, which takes place next year in Girona (10-13 June). We will post updates / reminders on that in the near future.
