2nd Young Finance Scholars' Conference and Corporate Governance Workshop
Call for papers
Submission is open to young researchers working in all areas of finance, especially (but not limited to) PhD students, post-doctoral and early career researchers in these areas: behavioural finance, computational finance, corporate finance, empirical finance, energy finance, financial econometrics, high-frequency modelling, mathematical finance, quantitative finance, real options.
Conference submissions are encouraged in the areas of corporate governance, corporate finance, asset pricing, banking, quantitative finance, financial econometrics and empirical finance. Authors should be young finance scholars such as PhD students, post-doctoral fellows and early career researchers.
Draft papers (which need not be complete) should be submitted by 3rd May 2015 to Dr. Aanand Venkatramanan at a.venkatramanan@sussex.ac.uk. Delegates will be selected to present based on the scope of their work and their stage of PhD, post-doctoral or early-career research.
Research that is less advanced may also be proposed for poster presentation, by submitting a detailed outline of research in progress. Papers that are not accepted for presentation in a parallel session may also be selected for posters. Leading researchers will have the opportunity to speak to poster presenters during the networking breaks. Participants requesting a poster presentation should also email Dr. Venkatramanan by 3rd May 2015, with a summary overview of the poster content.

Best Paper Award
A short internship at Fidelity Worldwide Investment will be awarded for the best paper on Corporate Governance.
