Making Sense of Events Experiences
The Association for Events Management Education (AEME) is calling for papers for a special publication in the ‘Event Management’ journal.
Events are experiences that feed and test our senses and in turn test and elevate our understanding and knowledge of the world.
From events that stimulate us through sound, vision, taste, touch and hearing, to events that increase our sense of belonging, this publication is interested in pulling together papers on the sensory and educational effect of events experiences from an academic and a delivery point of view.
We therefore invite the submission of research papers on the following themes:
· Sensory events
· Immersive events
· Nostalgic events
· Community events
· Accessibility and events
· Experiential learning in events management education
The deadline for submission is 15th September 2016.
6000 – 7000 word papers should be submitted to: o.ramsbottom@derby.ac.uk.
Notes on the necessary format can be found at https://www.cognizantcommunication.com/journal-titles/event-management [Submitting Articles]
